Dr Shereen Lim

Dentists Newcastle welcomes Dr Shereen Lim in Joondalup, for all their latest dental treatments and techniques, given gently by their caring team of dentists.

I graduated from UWA in 2000 and worked in a couple of government and private positions before establishing Sparkle Dental with Dr Alex Devellerez in May 2004. I currently enjoy a great balance between working at Sparkle Dental part-time and looking after our gorgeous daughters Jessica and Chloe. I enjoy so many aspects of dentistry. It offers so much variety and the perfect combination of art, science and personal relationships- it's such a rewarding profession to be in. I especially enjoy being involved in sedation dentistry and helping patients who have high fear or dental anxiety. It's great to be able to help people proceed with their often delayed treatment, and to have them happy to return after. More recently, I have developed a strong interest in the emerging field of Dental Sleep Medicine. This relates to Sleep Disordered Breathing and how dentists can be involved in treating conditions such as snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnoea. I am currently completing a Graduate Diploma in this field through the University of Western Australia. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and music. I am passionate about seeing live music and travelling to new places.
