My name is Jeremy Rourke. I’m part of a family of dentists with my father, brother, cousin and nephew also being dentists. I have been a registered dentist since 1971. My dental practice is based on a very simple and very old idea: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". That’s right – the Golden Rule. I started STAR Dental with exactly that rule in mind. So, how does the Golden Rule translate into dentistry? When I have my dental treatment done, I want it done as well as today’s technology will allow. I want treatment that looks great, feels great and lasts as long as possible. This cannot be achieved using 1970s, 1980s or even 1990s technology. Dentistry is evolving fast and I invest time attending post-graduate training to keep up-to-date with the latest treatment recommendations.
